Photographer & Filmmaker Steven Jon brings us a series of images pondering the internal reflection of external decay.
I find the act of being present during a period of degeneration a painful and worthy challenge. Growing up on the East Coast of North America, our winters present an outward reduction process that's aways felt reflected in my life. Winter strips away all venere, leaving naked our fears, desires, and flaws. It's easy to feel swallowed by the emptiness. Yet in this barren place, the restraints prepare a place for new growth. Anticipation of new life glimmers like the faint light of stars against a dark night sky. - Steven Jon
